David Motherway

David is new to the charity sector having started volunteering with Peer Power in 2015. He is the Treasurer and so supports the charity with its financial and tax matters. David also acts as a Trustee for the charity, supporting the organisation’s development and strategy.

David has spent the past few years working in the corporate banking sector in London analysing credit risk, lately concentrating on international oil and gas clients.

David’s education has been varied having studied Business & Arts Management, international development and business strategy. His research into the Irish Banking crisis was recently accepted for publication in the Journal of Business Ethics. Previous research explored the relationship between democracy, the free market and violent conflict.
