Amirah Thomas

Amirah is a trainee solicitor and an entrepreneur. She runs several businesses, her main one being a compliance company that mainly works with charities.

She is an active member in her local community and regularly gets involved in local projects. She first started out volunteering at 14 as a youth leader for RKS, an after school and holiday club based in Lewisham. Amirah also worked on the biggest youth-led study in the UK, “The Kenny Report.” This was a research project focussed on raising awareness of the issues affecting marginalised communities (and the solutions to these issues) from a young person’s perspective.

Amirah is passionate about social justice, criminal reform and tackling inequality. She wants to see a world where every young person, regardless of their circumstances, is given an equal opportunity to excel in life.
