Young People and staff from Peer Power co-presented with NHS England a seminar at the Annual Youth Justice Convention on
“Health and wellbeing needs of young people in the justice system”
The Youth Justice Convention is the annual event for all those working in the youth justice system, in particular managers, professionals, practitioners and policy makers.
Hosted by the YJB, the annual Convention is now in its 16th year, and is the most significant event for the sector. The 2016 theme for the convention is ‘Youth Justice: From Now To The Future’.
Young People performed a song about recognising emotional health and well-being needs, and you can view this in the ‘Young People’s Area’, which can be accessed via the arrow at the top-right of the page.
