Over the last month Peer Power Youth’s Peer Leader, Alexys, has been leading on our social media channels, and bringing in creative ideas to help improve our content, most notably on our recently launched TikTok.
Alexys’ passion and enthusiasm towards content creation has improved our online presence by expanding on our video content and Alexys is leading on coordinating a space where young people can takeover our socials and document their days working on our projects throughout Peer Power Youth.
Alexys received the Exceptional contribution to Equality Diversity and Inclusion Award for her work in the Anti-Racism Equity and Equality Circle. She was also awarded the Exceptional Role Model Award for her incredible work this year as a Peer Leader, leading on projects around the justice system, violence impacting communities and more and always being an inspiring role model for other Young Partners.
At our Annual Awards ceremony Alexys spent time interviewing Trustees, staff, funders and Young Partners to understand more about the behind the scenes at Peer Power Youth. She asked inciting questions, allowing our audience to discover about the work that the organisation does to inspire individual and system change.
